One week of playing and the D string breaks right in the middle of the neck, so I lean towards a manufacturing defect or a weakness. The black strings are not very visible on the neck but the aesthetic effect is undeniable.

Easy to install, perfectly suitable for a folk guitar, but be careful, you must constantly check the tuning!!! It goes out of tune extremely easily!!! I installed them on a LAG Tramontane T300 DCE, and I am very disappointed, otherwise they produce a warm bossa sound... move on, honestly!

Special setup on a folk dreadnought (Yamaha FG 450 SA from the 80s... which was sleeping in a corner) for a beginner child to have a really light tension. This nylon ball model fits very well. It generates an atypical sound, rounder and warmer than a folk. It's nice in its kind. It's light on tension, we don't have the resonance and snap of a strong gauge on a classical. You have to have a light touch. But it does what I expected for the child. Ideal for anyone with sensitive fingers.
